Dr. Terry Donohue
During the past three decades, Dr. Terry has given patients a lot to smile about. He listens, he understands and he responds to their concerns with progressive treatments that bring forth big health benefits, long-lasting results and of course, dazzling smiles. He also believes in developing long-term, personal relationships with patients.
They know they’ll be treated like family and that they will have access to a full range of dental services, from the most basic cleaning to the most advanced treatments and therapies available. Dr. Terry is dedicated to improving mouth and teeth function, as well as form.
His (Dr. Terry’s) passion for health and dentistry has propelled him to keep up to date with the latest techniques and procedures in dentistry. He has completed studies in Orthodontics, Endodontics, Crown & Bridge, Cosmetic Dentistry, Sleep Apnea, and Oral Sedation. Dr. Terry most recently completed three years of rigorous training to be one of 240 dentist’s world- wide earning accreditation in Bioesthetic Dentistry. This is a breakthrough approach to dental health that effectively alleviates TMJ disorders, chronic headaches, including migraines, and patients with abnormal/and or excessive wear on their teeth, using nature as a model. He strives to optimize his patient’s oral health in ways that surpass traditional dentistry.
Dr. Terry is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Ninth District Dental Society and The Academy of Bioesthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Terry grew up on the family farm where he attended Fulton High School. He graduated with distinction from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and then pursued dentistry at The University of Michigan where he graduated with high honors.
Personally, Dr. Terry married his high school sweetheart JoAnn prior to attending dental school and now lives on the family farm where Terry grew up. They are proud to have raised 3 children, Kelly, Erin and Kevin, whom are all married. Their current joy in life are their 5 grandchildren. In addition to his family and dentistry, he enjoys working on the family farm, and as a past time, enjoys being outdoors and running 5 K races.
Dr. Timothy Donohue
Dr. Tim is proud to have grown up in the small farming community of Perrinton, Michigan. His passion for dentistry began in high school and earned him the nickname Doc. He graduated valedictorian of Fulton High School in 1977. After two years of undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University, he was accepted into the University of Michigan Dental School. Upon graduation from dental school in 1983, Tim accepted his brother's request to practice dentistry with him in Carson City. Also, in 1983 he married his high school sweetheart, Sherry. Dr. Tim and his wife have two grown children who are currently in college. He is a 4th generation farmer on the Donohue family farm. To this day he cherishes the time he spends at the family farm working with his mom and dad. Dr. Tim volunteers actively in the community, church and schools as a way of giving back for their support.
After 25 years of focusing his practice in family dental care in the Carson City area, Dr. Tim remains easy going and concerned about his patient's comfort and the best treatment for them. Early dental education is also very important to Dr. Tim. He offers his time to help educate the children in the area at local schools and health fairs to care for their dental health and achieve a healthy smile.
Because the profession is constantly changing, Dr. Tim looks forward to the many continuing dental education classes offered to remain up to date and informed in the latest technology, treatment plans, development of new skills, and equipment. He is highly skilled in family and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, crown and bridges, dentures, and dental implants. Dr. Tim is a current member of the American Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, and past president of the Ninth District Dental Society.

Dr. Kelly Donohue
Dr. Kelly is a lifelong resident of the area, having grown up on her family farm outside of Carson City. She graduated from Carson City High School in 1999, which was followed by two years at Aquinas College and two years at Michigan State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Dr. Kelly then attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, in Milwaukee Wisconsin, where she graduated with a D.D.S. degree in 2010. Upon graduation, she moved back to Michigan and joined the family practice.
Dr. Kelly enjoys performing the many aspects of dentistry that are utilized in our practice, especially working with children. She is most concerned with patient satisfaction and values the trust you have in her to take part of your oral health care needs. Dr. Kelly has volunteered at the local health fairs helping to educate the public about good oral habits and at the community college to perform dental exams on young children just starting school. She also donates time to the local football programs by making custom mouth guards for any interested team member.
Dr. Kelly likes to keep up to date with current technology by taking several continuing education courses. Some of these courses have focused on more modern methods for straightening teeth, including Invisalign and Six Month Smiles. She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association. In her spare time Dr. Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, as well as travelling, cooking and running.
